There are a great many places in India that you could visit but South India is unrivalled in terms of natural beauty. Whether it is hills, valleys, waterfalls or lakes; South India has them all. But there are a wide range of areas that you could visit during South India tourism. So what are the places that you should particularly visit on a South India tour? Read on to know!
South India is a place where nature flourishes, as any South India tour can show you. There are places of astounding beauty in Karnataka, Tamil Nadu and Kerala that will tantalise your senses. The most prominent part of Kerala tourism is likely the backwaters. The boat houses that allow you to sleep under the stars are an exceptional experience. The most popular destinations in Kerala are Munnar and Wayanad; both are excellent destinations for a Kerala honeymoon. The most popular destination during a Munnar tour inevitably turns out to be Mattupetti Lake, which allows boating and the Mattupetti Dam has a picnic area nearby. If you re lucky, you could catch sight of the rare once-in-twelve-years blooming Neelakurinji flower at Eravikulam National Park. Echo Point and Top station are also popular tourist spots. A Wayanad tour though, can boast of the Edakkal caves and the three falls: Soochipara, Meenmutty and Kanthapara. So make sure it clear to the tour operators from Kerala that you want to visit these places.
But Kerala isn t the only place with honeymoon destinations Tamil Nadu has its own share. Ooty and Kodaikanal are hill stations in Tamil Nadu, and are included regularly in Tamil Nadu tourism. An Ooty tour typically includes a visit to the Ooty Lake, as well as a visit to the various gardens like the Rose garden, the Thread garden, and the Botanical gardens. Don t miss out on the opportunity to see deers frolicking about at the Deer Park. A Kodaikanal tour would take you through the Bryant and Chettiar parks. You could also enjoy a leisurely boating about the Kodai Lake. Coaker s walk is not to be missed, nor is the Solar Observatory. Chennai tourism, on the other hand, would guide you through the capital city of Tamil Nadu. A visit to Fort St. George and the Marina Beach are a given on this tour. While Ooty, Kodaikanal and Chennai all have their own tourist attractions, there s nothing that can beat the number of visitors that are drawn into Tirupati tourism. Tirupati draw in millions of tourists every year to see the world famous Venkateshwara temple.
The last destination included as part of South India tourism is Karnataka. Generally Karnataka tourism includes Mysore and Coorg as primary destinations. Coorg tourism takes you on peaceful journey through the hillstation of Coorg in Karnataka. The Madikeri fort, Abbey falls and the Raja s seat in Coorg are not to be missed. The Mysore Palace, with all of its pomp and royalty, is always made part of Mysore tourism, as are the Brindavan gardens. With so many places to be seen and heard, why not go for South India tourism?
